Booking Fee

When making your online booking a $27.50 deposit is required, $25 will be deducted from your package price on the day of photography.

Arrive on Time and wait in your car until called

We kindly ask that you aim to be at the studio 5 minutes before your session. Please do not come to early as it means you will have to wait longer in your car. If you have not arrived by your allocated time slot, your time slot may be given to the next person in line and you will have to wait longer. We ask that you text message 0414 596 674 when you arrive at the studio with:

  • Your surname
  • Car number plate
  • The colour of the car.

Please remain in your car until invited in by our staff member.

Health and Well-being

All hard surfaces, Santa’s chair, ottomans, stools, sleigh, USB’s, service desk, bathroom, sinks, door handles, light switches, boxes and anything else touched by staff or customers will be thoroughly sanitised between and during each photo session. Use of hand sanitiser must be used when entering the studio. Temperatures will be taken before entry. If anyone in your family has a temperature you will need to be rescheduled after having a negative covid test.

If anyone is feeling unwell, experiencing any flu like symptoms, been in contact with someone that has tested positive to COVID-19, or been to a covid hotspot, please call us so we can reschedule your appointment once you have received a clear covid test result.

Social Distancing

It is imperative that we all practice social distancing rules. Children cannot sit on Santa’s knee or on his throne next to him, however they can give Santa a high five as Santa’s gloves will be changed after each family. We will use our experience and talent to take awesome photos, whilst still maintaining distance. We will have ottomans for the children to sit on, they can sit on Santa’s throne whilst he stands behind them. All family members will need to practice social distancing from Santa and staff. Babies that are unable to sit alone, will need mum and dad in a photo. Baby may be done alone in a box if parents bring a thin blanket or material for us to use to prop baby up in the box.

USB’s Only

There will be no printed photos at the Hideaway. If you already have a Lasting Memories USB please bring that with you to receive a $20 discount off the full price of $95 (pay only $75). If you do not have a Lasting Memories USB, you may purchase one on the day of photography for $95. If you are bringing back a USB please ensure it is in a snap lock bag, our staff will be wearing gloves when handling USB’s.

Each Family MUST have their own USB.

USB’s Policy

Please note that we do not cover old USB’s that are corrupt, damaged, or write-protected. If your USB is damaged and we cannot use it, you will be required to purchase a new one on the day of your photo shoot for $95.

Extra Poses

Each family receives 3 poses when purchasing USB’s (not always possible when children are scared or unsettled). If additional poses are requested, an extra $10 per pose will be charged.

Props

Unfortunately, due to the health and safety of us all, we cannot use our props. However, we do encourage you to bring your own if you have any. If not, that is ok, as we are introducing new scenes this year so you will still end up with different poses. We have 4 different backgrounds available, however we do have a time schedule to adhere to, so you may not get a photo on all backdrops. If you all have masks, please bring them so we can take a mask shot to remind us of these crazy times.

Booking Your Santa

You have the option to choose your Santa when making your booking. We will try our best to stick to these schedules, however if due to unforeseen circumstances E.g. Santa gets sick, we will change your Santa with one of our other fabulous Santa’s with no notice given, and you will not be able to reschedule your booking, due to another Santa working.

Group Photo’s

Due to COVID-19, the social distancing rules and advice from the NSW Department of Health, we will not be taking group photos this year. We can only take individual immediate families.

Payment Methods Accepted

Please bring CASH to be paid on the day of your photo session. Unfortunately, we do not have EFTPOS/ATM OR CREDIT CARD FACILITIES available due to reception issues.

The Hideaways deposits are processed online and all balances are to be paid in Cash at the time of your appointment. Gloves will be worn by staff member whilst taking your payment.

Receiving Your Photos

You will be able to take all your unedited photos home on USB on the day of your photo shoot (approx. 5 mins depending on the amount of photos taken, and you will need to wait in your car until staff member brings you your USB) there will be no printed packages available at the hideaway. If you would like your images edited, we will provide a USB on the day with your unedited images and for an extra $30 we will edit these images and send them to you via email within 7 days. (editing involves, sharpening, colour balance, cropping and some special effects e.g.: Black and white)

Cancellation Policy

You do not have the opportunity to reschedule your own appointment. You must contact Lasting Memories Photography at [email protected] 48 hours in advance of your booking time. You are allowed to reschedule your appointment once only and this will incur an additional $2.50 admin fee. We will do our best to re-schedule your appointment for you however availability will be limited and re-scheduling will only be offered on the months we have opened. If it is before we open a new month and we were given the required 48 hours notice we will refund $25 and you can re book when we open the next month. If you need to reschedule a second time, you will NOT be
refunded your deposit fee and will need to book a new session. You will forfeit your $27.50 booking deposit if you miss or cancel your appointment or if we do not receive the 48 hours notice required. 

If you or someone in the family is unwell and has flu-like symptoms, please contact us via email at [email protected] so we can reschedule you after you have produced a negative covid test, for all other illnesses please provide a medical certificate stating a non covid related diagnosis and we will reschedule or refund your appointment minus $2.50 admin fee. 

Please Be Patient

Please note, that while we make every effort to stick to the schedule, our booking system is not intended to eliminate wait times but to minimise them, expected wait time may be up to 15 minutes in your car. We apologise for any waiting in advance, especially since we cannot offer you the comfortable waiting area with toys and refreshments as we have in the past. We do have pram and wheelchair access.
